As part of Penn State Health’s marketing and creative team, I helped translate complex healthcare messaging into clear, compassionate, and visually cohesive campaigns. Working across digital and print platforms, I partnered with strategists, directors, and project managers to ensure each piece delivered both creative excellence and operational precision.

Responsibilities:

Collaborated closely with the in-house marketing and communications teams to concept, design, and execute integrated campaigns across an eight-hospital system in Pennsylvania. Oversaw creative production for multi-channel initiatives supporting brand alignment, patient engagement, and community outreach.

Challenge:

Penn State Health faced the dual challenge of maintaining consistency across a growing network of hospitals while ensuring each location’s communications reflected its unique community. The marketing team needed scalable creative systems that could deliver unified brand storytelling across diverse service lines and audiences — from children’s care to advanced medical research.

Approach:

I worked hand-in-hand with marketing leadership to build design solutions that balanced brand integrity with flexibility.

  • Developed creative assets for multi-channel 360 campaigns, including Penn State Children’s Hospital.

  • Supported system-wide initiatives with cohesive visual strategies that elevated patient trust and institutional credibility.

  • Introduced refined workflows between design and marketing teams to streamline project timelines and creative feedback.

  • Expanded my toolkit through advanced Adobe After Effects training, applying motion design to enhance digital campaign storytelling.

Collaboration was central — every campaign was built through direct dialogue with marketing partners, ensuring alignment from strategy to execution.

Outcome:

The creative output strengthened Penn State Health’s visual and narrative consistency across its eight-hospital network. Campaigns achieved higher engagement rates and improved internal adoption of brand standards. The partnership between design and marketing became a model for efficient, cross-functional creative collaboration — demonstrating that even within structured healthcare systems, design can drive empathy, clarity, and impact.
